Fourth man charged with Indian-origin woman’s murder
August 14th, 2010 - 2:05 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Aug 14 (IANS) A fourth man has been charged with the murder of an Indian-origin woman, whose hand was cut off and who was left dying in a London suburban street.
Geeta Aulakh, 28, a receptionist with Sunrise Radio, was found bleeding to death in Greenford, in northwest London, in November 2009. One of her hands had been cut off.
Three men — including Geeta’s estranged husband Harpreet Aulakh, 32 — have earlier been charged with her murder.
Jaswant Singh Dhillon, 30, of Ilford, was charged in the case Friday and will appear at the West London Magistrates’ Court Saturday, Scotland Yard officials were quoted as saying by Sky News.
All four people have, however, denied the charges.
A trial would take place Oct 18.
