Four Mexicans die as Christmas tree catches fire
December 25th, 2009 - 11:49 am ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Ciudad Juarez (Mexico), Dec 25 (IANS/EFE) A family of four died in a fire caused by a short circuit in lights on their Christmas tree in a Mexican town, the authorities said.
The burnt remains of the four people were found inside their house. The fire broke out early Wednesday in Jimenez, a city in the border state of Chihuahua.
Gabriel Luna Perez, his wife Gregoria Galvan Jimenez, and their sons Javier and Hector Luna Galvan died in the blaze, the Chihuahua state attorney general’s office said.
