Four killed in Russian plane crash
August 21st, 2011 - 9:07 am ICT by IANSMoscow, Aug 21 (IANS) A light plane crashed near Russia’s second largest city of St. Petersburg, killing all four people onboard, rescue service officials said.
The crash occurred 50 km from St. Petersburg near the town of Ropsha, Xinhua reported citing the Interfax news agency.
The cause was still unclear and an investigation was underway, an official said.
It was the second crash involving a light plane near St.Petersburg in four days. On Aug 16, three people were killed when a private light plane crashed south of the city.
