Four killed in al-Qaeda ambush in south Yemen
March 11th, 2011 - 8:52 pm ICT by IANSSana’a, March 11 (IANS) At least four policemen were killed in an ambush set by al-Qaeda militants in Yemen’s southeast province of Hadramout Friday, a provincial security official told Xinhua.
“A group of al-Qaeda onboard a car shouting ‘Allah is the Greatest’ attacked a police patrol, killing four policemen and injuring two others in Mukalla, the provincial capital city of Hadramout,” Xinhua quoted the official who requested anonymity.
Another security source said the attack took place in an area called Wadi Douan, Hadramout city.
