Four dead in China mine gas blast
August 28th, 2012 - 12:09 am ICT by IANSBeijing, Aug 27 (IANS) At least four miners were killed and five injured in China Monday following a coal mine gas blast, Xinhua reported.
The blast occurred at around 11.30 a.m. in Fengjie county’s Honghe Coal Mine, said sources with the municipal authorities.
A total of 12 miners were working underground when the accident happened, said sources. Three of them were brought out safely from the mine.
