Four dead, five missing in Mexico boat accident
March 10th, 2011 - 10:59 am ICT by IANSMexico City, March 10 (IANS/EFE) Four people were killed and five went missing when a fishing boat capsized in the Sea of Cortez off Mexico coast, officials said.
The boat lost contact with maritime officials four days ago, when it was about 110 nautical miles from the port city of Guaymas in the state of Sonora, emergency management office and navy secretariat spokesmen said Wednesday.
The cause of the accident has not been determined, they said.
Search and rescue operation is being conducted by the authorities in the area.
