May 31st, 2011 - 1:04 pm ICT by IANSBogota, May 31 (IANS/EFE) Four siblings, aged between four and 13 years, drowned while playing in a pond near the town of Susa in the central Colombian province of Cundinamarca, an official said Monday.
Susa mayor Jimmy Oswaldo Caro told the media that the three girls and a boy, who had accompanied their mother to do some farm chores, died Sunday afternoon while they were playing in the small pond.
Apparently, the mother lost sight of the children for a short while and afterwards found the body of one of them floating in the pond.
The bodies of the other three children were recovered later from the bottom of the pond, it was reported.
