Four Britons charged with terrorism offences
November 19th, 2011 - 5:24 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Nov 19 (IANS) Four British men have been charged with raising funds for terror purposes and of travelling to Pakistan for terrorist training, a media report said Saturday.
Khobaib Hussain, Ishaaq Hussain and Shahid Kasam Khan — all 19 years — and Naweed Mahmood Ali, 24, were Friday night charged with the crimes by the Crown Prosecution Service, Sky news reported.
All four were arrested from their homes in Sparkhill area of Birmingham by officers from the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit Nov 15.
Police said the arrests were “pre-planned” and were part of a major ongoing investigation.
