London, July 29 (IANS) Welsh football star Ryan Giggs is not happy with players who have cashed in on their celebrity status. According to thesun.co.uk, the 34-year-old sports star who played with Manchester United is against players selling details of their personal lives to tabloid magazines.

“Where does it stop? You get offered money for your wedding, then for your kids, new houses, holidays. We earn enough from football and sponsorships, why do you need any more? It’s tempting, but you have to make choices,” Giggs said.

Speaking of his former team mate David Beckham who attracts a lot of media attention, Giggs said: “Becks was always comfortable with it. I can’t think of anything worse.”
