Five killed in Ukraine bank robbery
December 30th, 2011 - 3:27 am ICT by IANSKiev, Dec 30 (IANS) Five people were killed when robbers struck a bank in eastern Ukraine.
The robbery took place at 3 p.m. Thursday in Privatbank in the centre of Donetsk city. Four bank employees and a security officer were killed at the scene, the bank said.
Police declined to give more details, reports Xinhua.
Privatbank chairman Alexander Dubilet expressed condolences to the families of those killed and called on the public to assist the police in apprehending the criminals.
