Five killed in Turkey building fire
January 23rd, 2012 - 9:08 pm ICT by IANSAnkara, Jan 23 (IANS) At least five people were killed and as many injured after a fire broke out in a three-storey building in Turkey’s largest city Istanbul Monday, the local daily Today’s Zaman reported.
The building, located in the city’s Fatih district, was engulfed in flames early morning, Xinhua reported citing the daily.
Of the five injured in the incident, two were hurt when they jumped out of a window from the third floor, while the other three received burn injuries in the fire.
