Five killed in Albania shootout

Tirana (Albania), Aug 8 (Xinhua) Five people, including four policemen, were killed following an exchange of fire with a fugitive at the Albanian resort town of Durres Friday, officials said.
Dritan Dajti, 37, who has been on the run since 2003, was captured after the shootout. One civilian was killed in the incident, the police said.

Dajti opened fire when the police tried to arrest him.

He was sentenced to 20 years in prison for killing a businessman.
