Five Indians held in Bangladesh
August 10th, 2011 - 10:16 pm ICT by IANSDhaka, Aug 10 (IANS) Five Indians have been arrested by the Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) for allegedly entering into Bangladeshi territory, a media report said Wednesday.
They have been identified as Oliul, Barek Sheikh, Meheruddin, Sultan and Abul Kashem from Boishnab Nagar area of Maldah district of West Bengal, the Daily Star reported.
The Indians entered Bangladesh Tuesday night through the Shingnagar border area of Shibganj sub-district. They were later handed over to police.
