First double portrait of Princes Harry and William unveiled in London

Made by artist Nicky Philipps, the portrait has been displayed at London’s National Portrait Gallery, reports The Daily Express.
The painting shows the brothers in arms in conversation at Clarence House’s library.
In it, William, 27, and Harry, 25, are wearing the formal dress uniform of the Household Cavalry’s Blues and Royals during an imagined moment just before they leave to take part in the 2008 Trooping the Colour ceremony.
With the painting, Philipps said, she tried to capture their relaxed banter.
“I didn’t want any sort of overbearing formality about it because they are still young and William hasn’t got to his role yet,” she said. “They are really Army officers and they are brothers.
“I didn’t set out with a definite image in my mind. I wanted to meet them to see how they interacted with me and with each other.” (ANI)
