Fireworks blast kills six in China
September 12th, 2010 - 10:53 am ICT by IANSBeijing, Sep 12 (IANS) Six people were killed and four injured in an explosion triggered by fireworks in north China’s Hebei province, authorities said Sunday.
The accident occurred Saturday in a village in Dongwang township of Dingzhou city, Xinhua quoted an official as saying.
Preliminary investigation shows that the explosion was caused by the fireworks being produced illegally in the village, police said.
