Firemen help out burglar stuck in window
August 18th, 2010 - 2:56 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Aug 18 (IANS) A hapless burglar in Britain got stuck for six hours in a tiny window and was arrested after firemen ripped out the window frame to bring him out.
The 36-year-old burglar’s legs were left dangling outside the bathroom window when he failed to enter the house, The Sun reported Wednesday.
He attempted to enter the house between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. and he was spotted by the houseowner at 8.30 a.m.
Firemen tore out the frame to rescue him and he was then arrested.
“He’s obviously an idiot,” a neighbour was quoted as saying.
