Washington, September 7, 2010 (Just Flashed): A firefighter of New York named John Kelly had descended into a manhole on Monday to attempt to salvage an employee of the Department of Public Works named Anthony Ruggiero. However, heartbreakingly, Kelly was so trounced by the smoke (in the gutter) that he, along with Anthony, passed away.

The two breathed their last breath on Monday in Tarrytown, which happens to be a rural society situated about 20 miles northwest of Manhattan. The two were extricated from the manhole by salvagers. The deceases of Anthony and Kelly were proclaimed some time later in a sickbay.

Michael Blau happens to be the supervisor of Tarrytown. Blau has disclosed that Anthony was acting in response to a report of a gutter backup when he went into the manhole on Monday. Kelly was ushered in to lend a hand.

Each of the two chaps was seemingly beaten into a state of unconsciousness by the smoke in the gutter. The deceases of Anthony and Kelly are under inquiry presently.
