Fire traps 27 workers in China coal mine
January 5th, 2010 - 7:47 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Changsha (China), Jan 5 (IANS) Twenty-seven miners remained trapped inside a coal mine in central China after a fire broke out in the facility, an official said Tuesday.
The accident took place at 2 p.m. in Lisheng coalmine in Tanjiashan town in Hunan province, Xinhua reported. Officials have meanwhile launched a search for the trapped miners.
