Finnair Service Angels offer travelers peace of mind

Helsinki, May 11 (IANS) As part of its strategy of offering the fastest flights between Europe and Asia through the Helsinki Airport hub, Nordic carrier is in the process of recruiting 12 Service Angels to serve and assist customers at the airport over the coming summer, the airline said Wednesday.

“Finnair is offering work for decisive, service-oriented individuals, with the promise of interesting and diverse duties in Finland’s most international environment,” it said in a statement.

“Our goal is to develop our service continuously and to offer our customers Peace of Mind, care and attention at every stage of their journey,” said Minna Toiviainen, vice president, Finnair Ground Customer Service.

“The Finnair Service Angel’s task will be to guide, direct and entertain our customers at Helsinki Airport.”

In accordance with Finnair’s Designed for You customer promise, Service Angels will also be expected to display resourcefulness, creativity, attentiveness and capability to take into account customers’ needs.

“All kinds of special skills will be an advantage, because we hope our Service Angels will have the talent to make our customers’ journey a memorable experience from the moment of departure,” Toiviainen said.

The Finnair Service Angel” recruitment process is taking place in two stages. Applicants interested in becoming Service Angels were asked to attend a recruitment event in the Lasipalatsi in Helsinki on Monday. For those who pass the first stage, a second stage of recruitment will be held at Helsinki Airport on Thursday.
