Farrell joins in ‘painful tribute’ to LedgerFebruary 21st, 2008 - 2:25 pm ICT by admin
London, Feb 21 (IANS) Irish actor Colin Farrell has confirmed that he will join other stars to act out late actor Heath Ledger parts in “The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus”.
Farrell confessed it would be an “incredibly painful tribute”, contactmusic.com reports. Farrell will join superstars Jude Law and Johnny Depp and in film. Farrell was flattered that he was asked to help director Gilliam to finish Ledger’s last film.
He said: “I will be honoured to be part of that. It makes me feel uncomfortable to think about it too much and to get into it really here, but it’s an incredibly painful honour… and an honour I wish wasn’t bestowed on me, but an honour none-the-less.
“It’s about getting Heath’s work out there… He’s too good for any of his work not to be seen, you know, and I’m really keen and looking forward to doing it and just doing the best job I can do.”
