Houston, August 26 (ANI): Thousands of people in the Houston area took a 24-hour break from their digital lives yesterday.
It is called the National Facebook Fast.
Pastor Kerry Shook of Fellowship of The Woodlands led the charge.
He encouraged everyone to take a break from Facebook, Twitter, email and texting to focus on the relationships that matter most.
“We’re just so distracted multi-tasking, but multi-tasking doesn’t work when it comes to deep relationships,” MyFoxHouston.com quoted Pastor Shook as saying.
