New York, Dec 16 (ANI): Former madam Kristin Davis, who arranged escorts for ex-New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, has said that she will run in the Democratic primary for New York state comptroller if her infamous client also enters the race.

Writing on her Web site, Manhattan Madam.com, she challenged her “Client 9″ on Monday.

And among other things she pointed out that “his black socks in the boudoir are an additional affront to good taste.”

“I like to wreak a little havoc here and there. It’s ludicrous that Spitzer would even consider running for public office again, and even more ludicrous that New Yorkers would vote for him. But if he’s going to run, then so will I,” The New York Daily News quoted her as saying on Tuesday.

Spitzer took Davis down with him when he was caught using her services in 2008, and since then she hasn’t kept quiet about her feelings for the ex-governor.

“His abuse of some of the women I arranged for him to spend time with raises serious questions about his character,” said Davis on her site.

The ex-madam is now working on a master’s degree in psychology.

She has shown interest to run on a platform that “highlights the inequities and sexism in our criminal justice system which penalizes women, minorities and poor people while wealthy, connected white men like Eliot Spitzer evade justice.”

However, Davis has no intention of taking help in her campaign from former employee Ashley Dupre, who recently said she saw nothing wrong with Spitzer running for office.

“It makes me want to vomit. But it doesn’t really surprise me. Ashley hasn’t done her part, she hasn’t exposed half of the things that Spitzer did that may change New York’s opinion of him even more. It makes me question if someone is keeping her quiet,” said Davis candidly of Dupre’s assessment of Spitzer. (ANI)
