‘Evil horseman’ from ‘Lord of the Rings’ in waterfall shocks Brit couple
September 11th, 2010 - 5:40 pm ICT by ANILondon, Sept 11 (ANI): A couple, who were on a walking holiday in Britain, were left stunned when the picture they took of a waterfall captured a chilling apparition of an evil horseman from ‘The Lord of the Rings’.
Stephen and Sue Barringer, 55 and 51, took the picture during their holiday in the Yorkshire Dales, and when they later watched a slideshow of the images they were shocked to see a dark, cloaked figure staring out at them.
The cascading water had formed the shape of a ghoulish man, who looked identical to one of the nine Ringwraiths, or Nazgul, in ‘The Lord of the Rings’.
“We didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary when we were at the waterfall and we even sat there for a cup of coffee,” the Sun quoted mum-of-three Sue, from Ramsey, near Huntingdon, Cambs, as saying.
“But when we got home and saw the dark figure of a hooded man we were just astonished.
“There were no rocks there so we think the shape must have been made entirely from falling water.
“The figure just leaps out at you and it is very spooky. I’m sure it isn’t a ghost or anything like that, but it does seem very supernatural,” she stated.
Lorry driver Steve and teaching assistant Sue took the shot on August 12 near the Ingleton waterfalls in the Yorkshire Dales.
The Nazguls are nine men who succumbed to evil lord Sauron’s power and were granted near-immortality, and were called as Sauron’s “most terrible servants”. (ANI)
