London, Sep 23 (IANS) “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria Parker has said close friend Victoria Beckham is her role model and she aspires to be like her.
The actress became close friends with the former Spice Girl when Victoria and her football star husband David moved to Los Angeles in 2007 with their three children. Now Eva says she aspires to be like the singer-turned-fashion designer, reports contactmusic.com.

“It’s really interesting the camaraderie that athletes’ wives have, because they understand the schedule, the travelling and the distance. Victoria and I are in similar situations when it comes to our husbands. I admire the wife and mother that she is and, at the same time, this glamorous and beautiful businesswoman. That’s what I aspire to be,” said Eva, who is married to basketball star Tony Parker.

Eva is also a huge fan of Victoria’s fashion label and thinks she’s a very accomplished designer. “She’s really hit the nail on the head. You can tell she’s not another celebrity doing a clothing line, she is fashion and knows what she is talking about.”
