EU condemns Jaipur blasts

May 14th, 2008 - 10:56 pm ICT by admin -

Brussels, May 14 (IANS) The European Union Wednesday said it “whole-heartedly condemns” the bomb attacks in Jaipur, EuAsiaNews reported. “These attacks clearly demonstrate that terrorism is a serious threat to all states and to all peoples. No cause, no grievance, can justify acts of terrorism,” noted a statement issued by the EU Presidency, currently held by Slovenia.

The terrorist attack Tuesday evening killed at least 63 people.

The 27-member European bloc expressed its deep condolences to the families of the victims, and wished a fast recovery to those injured in these atrocities.
