Ethiopian airliner makes emergency landing in Beirut
June 17th, 2010 - 8:25 pm ICT by IANSBeirut, June 17 (DPA) An Ethiopian airliner made an emergency landing at Beirut international airport Thursday shortly after take-off due to a technical malfunction.
“The plane asked to return to Beirut Airport shortly after take-off due to a malfunction,” an airport official said.
On Jan 25, 2010, an Ethiopian airliner crashed into the sea near Beirut airport shortly after take off, killing 90 passengers on board, most of whom were Lebanese.
