villageNov 27, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The holiday season is officially here and it looks like cities are gearing up for it in style. In Marlborough, the celebrations will turn grand as the city will have its own version of the ‘Enchanted Village’. Reports indicate that a large number of vintage figures were brought into the city recently. The ‘Enchanted Village’ will in fact be the extension of the Marlborough Historical Society’s ‘Festival Of Trees’.

Volunteers at the Enchanted Village on 362 Elm street have set up everything from miniature rail roads to decorated trees to the delight of the residents. The lighted setting will have candy sticks hanging from the ceiling, gift boxes, toys, crafts and many more. Bob Kane of the Marlborough Historical Society spoke to the media while instructing the volunteers decorating the place and said that people just keep stopping there. He also said that the moment they walk in through the gate they are awe-struck by the ‘Enchanted Village’. The residents of the city have also shown great excitement at the third annual event. The tickets are priced at $5 for the adults and $2 for the children between 5 and 12 years and also those above 62 years. For children below the age of 5, the entry is free.

In another American state, Indiana, Muncie is also fully into the holiday mood. The city will stick to its traditions like the ‘Enchanted Luminaria Walk’ at Minnetrista and there will also be the Christmas Sing which will celebrate its 74th year. The guests and the residents can take a walk in Farmland in the ‘Christmas Through The Ages’ and treat their children at the ‘Teddy Bear Tea’.
