Abu Dhabi, March 23 (IANS) Emirates Palace, the most expensive and luxurious hotel in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has joined Virtuoso 2008, the prestigious American tourism network, WAM news agency reported. The Emirates Palace in a press release said Friday its membership of the association would help it reach out to major world tourism markets and attract a larger number of elite holidaymakers.
General manager of Emirates Palace, Hans Olbertz said: “We in the Emirates Palace are proud of forging wider constructive partnership with one of the world’s most prominent tourism initiatives, with the aim of attracting increasing groups of tourists and upgrading the luxury tourism,.”
“Emirates Palace has become a world-class trademark for luxury tourism. Inspired by this achievement, we are committed to further strengthening our cooperation with the world’s leading tourism agencies and programmes,” he said.
Virtuoso 2008 comprises over 300 independent agencies with more than 6,000 elite travel specialists in 22 countries in North and South America, the Caribbean, Australia and New Zealand.
