Eiffel Tower evacuated after bomb threat
September 29th, 2010 - 12:48 am ICT by BNO NewsPARIS (BNO NEWS) — The Eiffel Tower was evacuated on early Tuesday evening after someone called in a bomb threat, police said.
Police said the Paris landmark was evacuated after someone called from a public phone, warning that a package in the tower would explode.
The evacuation comes only two weeks after a similar incident.
