A moderate earthquake with an intensity of 4.4 richter scale at Andaman Islands, India Region.
The moderate quake occurred on Saturday, October 04, 2008 at 02:05:52 UTC (Coordinated Universal Time ) and Saturday, October 04, 2008 at 08:05:52 AM at epicenter of the local time as reported by the U.S. Geological Survey.
The epicenter is 150 km (95 miles) SW of Port Blair, Andaman Islands, India, 335 km (210 miles) NNW of Misha, Nicobar Islands, India,1005 km (620 miles) WSW of BANGKOK, Thailand, 2505 km (1560 miles) SE of NEW DELHI, Delhi, India with the depth of 10 km (6.2 miles) set by location program.
Today morning also there was an earthquake with 5.5 richter scale.
