Dust storms kill 10 in Pakistan
June 6th, 2012 - 12:41 am ICT by IANSIslamabad, June 5 (IANS) Strong dust storms lashed various parts of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Balochistan provinces Tuesday, killing at least 10 people, media reports said.
Dozens of people were injured in various incidents, as rains also lashed the Punjab plains, Geo News reported.
The storms uprooted trees, signboards and electricity polls. Power supply also remained suspended in many areas.
According to Xinhua, at least 15 people, including five children were killed.
