Dubai health authority launches anti-smoking hotline
June 14th, 2012 - 11:02 pm ICT by IANSDubai, June 14 (IANS/WAM) The Dubai Health Authority announced Thursday it had launched a toll-free quit-smoking helpline.
Launched in collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline, the 24-hour toll-free number 800-123-QUIT (7848) will guide smokers how to quit smoking.
Ahmed bin Kalban, chief executive officer of Primary Healthcare Sector at the DHA said: “The implementation of the quit smoking line … is part of the overall Tobacco-Free Dubai project.”
