Islamabad, Nov 3 (IANS) A drone fired three missiles in Pakistan’s North Waziristan tribal region Thursday, killing at least three suspected militants, a media report said.
The missiles struck a house at Dande Darpakhel, along the border with Afghanistan, Geo TV reported.
It was not immediately known who was killed in the strike.
The US has stepped up drone strikes in recent days despite strong opposition from Pakistan. Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said no permission had been given to the US to launch drone attacks on targets inside Pakistan.
