New York, Mar.18 (ANI): Real estate mogul Donald Trump has said that he is seriously considering running for the 2012 presidential polls as a Republican.
Trump said that he is serious about running for the presidential polls to be held later this year, and may run as an independent candidate in the general election if he fails to win the GOP nomination.
He said: ” Part of the beauty of me is that I am very rich,” adding that he was prepared to put in 600 million dollars of his own money to fund a campaign.
In a recent Newsweek/Daily Beast poll, 41 percent of Republicans and independents said they would vote for Trump in a head-to-head election against President Barack Obama, The New York Post reports.
He even criticized President Barack Obama and other US political leaders for allowing the country to become ‘ badly decimated’. (ANI)
