London, May 6 (ANI): Late Princess Dianas former butler Paul Burrell is planning a sumptuous, hush-hush party to mark his 50th birthday in style over in America.

Burrell whose credibility was ripped to shreds after he was caught boasting that he had misled the inquiry into the death of Princess Diana is celebrating his birthday on June 6.

But instead of keeping a low profile, his pals have revealed that the ex-royal butler, who is based in Florida, intends to splash out on a big bash with friends and family across the Atlantic.

Paul feels hes been through hell recently so he really wants to let his hair down and make this a party to remember, The Daily Express quoted a family insider, as saying.

Hes looking to hire a grand venue in Florida to host the event. As well as his friends in the US, his wife Maria and sons Nicholas and Alexander will be there, the insider added.

The ex-servant, who has made millions in America out of his connection to the Princess, was also rumoured to be looking to build his own castle-style abode in the US on the back of his vast earnings.

Paul wants to keep the party under wraps because he knows hell get lots of flak after all the recent controversy. Hes not exactly crazy about the idea of turning 50 but hes determined to make this a night to remember, the family source added. (ANI)
