Madrid , July 16 (DPA) Vicente del Bosque has been formally designated Spain’s new national coach to succeed Luis Aragones in a long anticipated move. The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) took the decision at a meeting in the Madrid suburb Las Rozas.

Former Real Madrid coach del Bosque, 57, will have a tough task ahead of at least matching the efforts of his immediate predecessor who led Spain to the title at Euro 2008 last month.
