Addis Ababa, Feb 10 (Xinhua) New anti-malaria interventions in four African countries including Ethiopia have shown a decline in cases in children under five, according to a World Health Organisation (WHO) study. The study reported a fall of 60 percent in Ethiopia, 64 percent in Rwanda, 29 percent in Zambia and 13 percent in Ghana between 2000 and 2007.

The main interventions in these countries were nationwide distribution of long-lasting nets to keep away mosquitoes and therapy medicines, the report said.
