Feb 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Although the death occurred in December, Disney did not report it until their quarterly injury report in February. In exchange for avoiding Florida’s state ride safety regulations, Disney is required to issue regular reports of any injuries or fatalities which occur in the park to the state.

While the carousel is known to be the calmest ride in the park, a seventy seven year old woman collapsed from a heart attack while riding the Prince Charming Regal Carousel. The report also said that the woman had a pre-existing heart condition.

Other injuries reported for the quarter from Disney included a seventy one year old woman who broke her hip and shoulder riding the Magic Kingdom carousel, and a seventy six year old woman who suffered injuries to her leg when she fell on a moving platform at Epcot’s “The Seas with Nemo and Friends.”
