Daughters allowed limited time online: Michelle Obama

Sydney, April 15 (ANI): US President Barack Obama and the First Lady Michelle Obama have certain rules for their daughters when it comes to using the Internet.
During her visit to Mexico, Mrs. Obama told CNN that she and her husband limit the use of computers for their daughters, Sasha 8, and Malia, 11.
She said that they also talk to their daughters about the dangers of social networking sites like Facebook and ‘getting into the gossip mill that comes from those activities’.
“It’s confusing in so many ways. I have to admit, it’s a generational issue. My generation didn’t have Facebook and Internet - you picked up the phone and called your friends on the phone,” the Sydney Morning Herald quoted her as saying.
“We ask a lot of questions about what our kids are doing while they are on the computer,” she added. (ANI)
