Cuban book fair captivates visitors
March 7th, 2010 - 12:03 am ICT by IANSSantiago de Cuba, March 6 (IANS) The 19th International Book Fair will end here Sunday after having been hosted in eight other Cuban cities, Prensa Latina reported.
Conference Centre Heredia and the Antonio Maceo Grajales Revolution Square are the main venues of the fair here. Various art shows, exhibitions, lectures and book launches were organised.
Russian films and artwork were also being exhibited. Publishing firms like Oriente y Santiago, which have been instrumental in promoting local talents, also took part.
