Countries can’t solve climate change problem, says Pachauri

Copenhagen, Dec 14 (IANS) Grassroots action, especially by the youth, will have to solve the climate change problem as the “nation state does not seem capable” of doing it, Rajendra Pachauri said here Monday, as the Dec 7-18 climate summit got bogged down in yet another round of bickering between governments.
The head of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) told youth NGO groups: “Politicians can only be aroused by each one of you. Spread knowledge about the science of climate change”.
On a day when a treaty to tackle climate change looked further than ever, Pachauri urged the youth: “You may lose a great deal but don’t lose hope”. In reply to a question from a despondent activist, he said: “Not having a legally binding agreement is positive. Copenhagen cannot and should not be the end of the world.”
But he did regret that negotiations towards a possible treaty between the 192 governments gathered here were “becoming solely political, and there’s no discussion on the science. I hope some negotiators at least have taken positions based on IPCC findings.”
The benchmark 2007 report of the IPCC brought global attention to the threats of climate change - lowered farm output, more frequent and more severe droughts, floods and storms and a rise in sea level.
Pachauri said: “The impacts of climate change are becoming progressively more serious and in several parts of the world can possibly pose a threat to peace and stability. On the other hand, the cost of taking action are very low and there are huge co-benefits.”

This Copenhagen Summit has nothing to do with Climate Change or the Environment! It is about countries signing away their Sovereignty, so that they can be under the Communist Dictates of the United Nations and the International Monetary Fund that belongs to the Global Elitists!
The best deal for Canada is no deal and I hope Environment Minister Jim Prentice and Prime Minister Harper, take that attitude seriously as they will find should they come back after having signed away Canada’s Sovereignty, or our ability to have a quality lifestyle via draconic Carbon Taxes and Cap and Trade, in this “non -Global Warming Country”, that their political careers have ended!
Check out the Copenhagen Document leaks, this knowledge may save your life! Do what you can with your Government Reps in your country to have these infringements on your life eliminated! You will literally be fighting for your and your family’s existence, Click the videos below:

We have huge wastewater, manure, humic acid, idustrial waste, car emitted gas and CO2.
We eat a potato and use energy and waste(CO2 Manure). In Utopia, we rebuild a plant with manure,CO2,energy.
Waste water treatment is an ongoing process driven by necessity. However, current treatment process requires significant energy use accounting for approximately three percent of all electricity usage in the US. Many practical design and operating decisions on waste water treatment plants can have significant impacts on the overall environmental performance, in particular the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The main factor in this regard is the use of aerobic or anaerobic treatment technology.
It also creates sludge (biosolids) and greenhouse gas emissions (VOC, CH4, CO2, NOX, etc.). The biosolids are reused as compost and fertilizers creating more greenhouse gases. These gases emitted in atmosphere returns to land and water stream in rainfall. Some pollutants that are not emitted remain in water even after treatment. This small amount of untreated pollutants is delivered straight to our home through tap water. So, the current process does not completely eliminate pollutants, and it creates dangerous greenhouse gas emissions that drives global warming. Global warming is one of the most deteriorating factors to the earth, and it poses threat to livelihood of human being in the future.
The end products of compost are composed of humus, humic acid and fulvic acid. The current activated sludge process is unable to degrade these end products. These are emitted to air using aeration process that requires significant energy use. So, there is still a need to change the current process to reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions and reverse the global warming trend.
There is one way. This new approach provides the solution by cultivating algae and diatom. These plants absorb all the organic matters and minerals (NO3, NH4, PO4, SO4, etc.) during photosynthesis. Significant amounts of CO2 is consumed, removing them from the air. Not only does this process removes CO2 from air, it does not emit any greenhouse gases. So, using natural sunlight, this method provides clean air and clean water. Growth of algae is considered the most efficient method of converting solar energy into organic matter. The biomass produced can be used directly as a solid fuel, or the oil extracted and refined into liquid oil or gasoline. The growth of the algae depends upon the removal of carbon from its environment. By applying this method to waste water treatment for human, animal and industrial wastes, significant amount of greenhouse gases will stop emit into air and removed from it. Therefore, it will remove more than what is and has already emitted in the air and reverse the global warming.
