New York, March 9 (IANS) Actor-director Kevin Costner has settled a breach of contract lawsuit against a production company over the film “Taming Ben Taylor”, which was never completed. The Oscar winner sued Ascendant Pictures in 2005 after the firm pulled out of their contract to make the film with Costner in the lead role, imdb.com reports.
The 53-year-old argued the lost project had cost him about $8 million in earnings and the case was due to be heard in court on Wednesday.
However, the two parties came to an out-of-court agreement and according to Costner’s lawyer William Bossen. Details of the settlement have not been released.
