Coldplay to wear same outfit for 67 gigsJuly 17th, 2008 - 2:51 pm ICT by IANS
London, July 17 (IANS) The rock band Coldplay has decided to wear French Revolution-style army jackets every night for their 67-day tour. The thesun.co.uk reports the band members have already been wearing the coats to death for promotional work of their album “Viva La Vida” and the video for single “Violet Hill”.
The jackets are inspired by the uniforms worn by the soldiers in Eugene Delacroix’s Liberty Leading The People painting.
