Clint Eastwood to give up acting for director’’s chair
November 4th, 2008 - 4:06 pm ICT by ANIWashington, Nov 4 (ANI): Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood is set to give up his acting career for the directors chair.
The 78-year-old star has hinted that his forthcoming starring role in Gran Torino will be his last.
He has cut back on his acting career in recent years to concentrate on directing.
“It”ll (Gran Torino) probably be my last. I”ll be drummed out of it after this one, Contactmusic quoted Eastwood, as telling Ireland’’s Sunday World newspaper.
Every time you do a movie you think, ”Aw, that’’s enough of that.” He tells Ireland’’s Sunday World newspaper.
“I always feel it’’s very comfortable to be behind the camera,” he added. (ANI)
