New York, Mar 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Author H.P. Albarelli in his new book has drawn references to CIA”s LSD experiments that were being performed upon the commuters of New York subway. As striking as it sounds, the so called “MK-ULTRA” project was called a “truth drug” that was being specifically crafted to blade out the truth from any individual.
“A Terrible Mistake” proclaims how the CIA went ahead in conducting LSD tests upon innocent commuters in the subway trying to gauge the intensity of the psychedelic drug. What makes it a serious issue is that the author has pointed out certain documents as valid proofs to his assertions in the book. Among a handful, one such evidence talks about a declassified FBI report from August 25, 1950. The report speaks of biological weapon experiments that are to be performed by the CIA officials and the target being the New York Subway System. Ex-CIA research scientist Dr. Henry Eigelsbach declared that the so called aerosol hallucinogenic tests did happen but nobody seems to know much about it.
The most interesting part is perhaps the one which depicts the timing ofthe aerosol hallucinogenic experiments clashing with a similar incident witnessed by a small French town that was subjected to sudden frenzy and mass hysteria, which had 32 people landing up in the hospital while four were put to death. The fungus that was found on the rye flour that made the bread, had traces of LSD in it. The story thus links Frank Olson, the CIA research scientist handling LSD experiments, who was reportedly in France when the incident took place. Unfortunately, the scientist killed himself soon after the incident.
