London, Apr 8 (ANI): The leaders of the Church of England have published a prayer for Prince William and Kate Middleton, urging the soon-to-be married couple to stay faithful.
The country’s bishops hope the romance won’t end in divorce, like William’s parents Prince Charles, 62, and late Princess Diana, or his uncle Prince Andrew and Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, 51.
Wills, 28, and Kate, 29, who will wed at Westminster Abbey, have been advised to remember “the promises they make that they may continue in life-long faithfulness to each other”, the Daily Star reported.
The Church has said people can take the 10-line verse and chant it in private to strengthen the good vibes for the couple’s big day, and that it can also be adapted for anyone planning to marry on April 29.
The prayer follows the release of one by the Catholic church, asking God to place his blessings on the royal newlyweds. (ANI)
