Chinese premier arrives in North Korea

Pyongyang, Oct 4 (Xinhua) Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao arrived here Sunday morning and was greeted at the airport by North Korea’s top leader Kim Jong Il.
Wen is in Pyongyang for a three-day visit at the invitation of the Workers’ Party of Korea Central Committee and the North Korean government.

The Chinese premier arrived at the Sunan Airport at around 11 a.m. local time (0200 GMT).

Wen will hold talks with North Korean leaders on bilateral relations and other issues of common concern, China’s foreign ministry said.
