Chinese mum posts ads seeking hubby for daughter on colleges’ boards
July 22nd, 2009 - 5:43 pm ICT by ANINew Delhi, July 22 (ANI): In a bid to find a suitable husband for her daughter, a Chinese woman has posted personal ads on the bulletin boards of Tianjin University and Nankai University.
The woman, surnamed Liu, wants to personally interview all the candidates before introducing them to her daughter, who is completely oblivious of the ads, reports the China Daily.
Liu has revealed that she posted the ads during the summer break as mostly postgraduates, professors, and student councillors visited the campus.
She feels that only a man holding a Masters degree will be fit for her daughter. (ANI)
