Beijing, July 28 (Xinhua) There are not tickets to matches featuring the Chinese men’s basketball team in the upcoming Olympics to even allow the players’ families to watch them, especially the match in which the home team plays the US. About 5,000 tickets were dispatched to the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), but only a few of them are tickets to China’s matches, said CBA vice president Li Yuanwei.

Li said the CBA got these tickets from the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

Tickets of the match between China and the US slated for Aug 10 are the hottest on the market, and Li said most of the families of the Chinese players would not be able to watch the match at the Wukesong Stadium.

Each ticket of the preliminary round gives access to two matches.
