China to launch satellite for Pakistan
August 10th, 2011 - 6:15 pm ICT by IANSBeijing, Aug 10 (IANS) China will launch a communications satellite for Pakistan at an “appropriate time”, an official said Wednesday.
A spokesman for the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China’s
Sichuan province said the satellite, the PAKSAT-1R, will be carried by a Long
March-3B carrier rocket.
Both the satellite and rocket are currently in good condition, Xinhua quoted the spokesperson as saying.
